What is it about the holidays that brings the best out in people? Not sure, but boy oh boy, did Avery have a blast. I am not sure what Colleen expected Avery’s reaction at 17 months to be because I sure did not know what mine would be, but Avery surprised us all with her excitement.

By the end of the morning she was exhausted. Whether it was from helping hand out all the gifts, to riding the rocking horse we bought her, or helping open every gift given to Colleen and myself, she was a blast – and she was exhausted by the time we were done.

Well, I think we were all exhausted – not only from Avery’s running, but from her constant questioning… DORA? DORA? DORA?
