Well, I am finally going to do it. I am planning to do my first triathlon in early July (July 9th). I guess it forces me to lose some weight and get back into shape. I have cut back my daily calories to between 1500 and 2000, and have been running a few days a week.

My goal is to finish the 500 meter swim, 9 mile bike, and 2.4 mile run in under 1 hour. To do that I plan to run 4-5 days a week for 2-3 miles, bike once or twice for 20 miles each, and swim 1500 to 2000 meters twice a week.

We shall see the results in a few weeks. As for now, I have already dropped about 15 pounds.
