For a third morning in a row Avery decided that it was worth getting up at around 5:45am. She was then happy to see me when I went and got her at around 6am, but I wasn’t happy to see her awake that early. She was exhausted and we just sat together on the couch and watched Sesame Street until it was time for breakfast. After breakfast we attempted to play, but Avery was too tired, so nap time it was.
After putting her down for a nap, she was up only 30 minutes later, so we played again. Less than an hour later, she was tired again – so nap it was. Great, but she was up 20 minutes later. So we played and wandered the house before hitting the streets for some errands. As I write this, she is sleeping… for how long – I do not know… I just know that it is much needed for the both of us.
It has been a rough morning. Avery has been at times loving, playful, funny, and laughing, but at others cranky and crying. At least I have been able to maybe get to the root of the problem… It looks as if two teeth are breaking through the gums as we speak. That would be enough to piss me off too.
