It was a good Mother’s Day and Avery had only one wish, to take mommy to brunch. Although she made it difficult by taking a long nap at the wrong time, we still made it to brunch at a reasonable hour. When Avery did wake up, she and mommy met me at a local restaurant called Tomfooleries. I think that Avery is a fan of eating out, and that she wanted to go out to eat more than she wanted to take mommy. Beef, potato pancakes, turkey, cheese, scones, blueberry bread, waffles, and fruit… a feast for a princess.

Plus, she got to spend time with mommy… her favorite person to wipe her hands on when they are covered in food.
