Well, our life as we know it may officially be over (though some would say our life as we knew it ended the day Avery was born). First it was the army crawl. Then she would stand. Next she started cruising. Then came the crawl. Now the baby has some guts.
She is standing on her own – testing the laws of gravity and seeing if weebles really do wobble but not fall down, though that is still only a hypothesis. The woman from parents as teachers told Colleen that it is normally a matter of days not weeks from the moment that Avery learns the thing we call gravity. Oh my. Time to get the oxygen masks because for the next 5 years or more we are going to be chasing this girl around.
