The grandparents have arrived today from New Jersey in anticipation of Avery’s baptism on Sunday, and they came bearing toys (or so I am told). Someone should have informed them that to get more attention from Avery, you need less toys – otherwise she is a whiz at playing with those new toys on her own and leaving you to fend for yourself. It should prove to be a fun-filled weekend for Avery as she is set to be the center of attention (as if she wasn’t already). Other than the baptism, what is in store? Couldn’t tell you, but I am sure it will be fun, whatever it ends of being.
