Yes, it is me. I do apologize. I have been a little lost and in turn have not been able to keep up with my previous pace of posting every day. While this is certainly a goal, it is sometimes just not a reality with the number of other items that take up my free time (other than Colleen and Avery – who sometimes do get left in the dust – which I am trying to change and thus leaving y’all in the dust with nothing to read). Sorry for the tangent, but I just had to use the word "y’all".

Ok, so to make up for the absence, I will leave you with some humor and then maybe some updates (later) on what I have been doing instead of posting here.

Yesterday morning while Colleen and I were playing in bed with Avery, Avery began smacking the rear area of "Babar" the elephant. I asked her what "Babar" had done to deserve the fact that she was spanking the elephant? With that, Colleen retorted, "aren’t you glad we did not get her the monkey?"
