Nope, we are not going anywhere – even though the frequency of posts may say something else. But this “bye-bye” post is more about the daughter then either Colleen or myself.

Avery is quite the piece of work. It is amazing to see her learn something new everyday. The past few days is has been the concept of waving bye-bye.

It is great to see that she understands the idea and loves to swing her arm at the television waving bye-bye to the local weatherman and news anchor. She also likes the finger wave and moves her fingers in the waving motion. While doing so, she is so proud of herself.

As a father it is cool to see her learn. Between standing, cruising, eating Melty Puffs, and now waving I cannot wait to see what she tries next… maybe saying da-da?
