Avery has been busy, busy, busy. Standing and cruising and the sort, but for the past day or two she has been concentrating on one thing. Let me tell you, she concentrates hard.

What is it that she concentrates on? Well, it is number 2. Yeah, number 2 as in the bathroom number 2 (aka the bowel movement). “Gross” or “What a let-down” you say? Not really. In my mind it is a major milestone. Why? Because she lets us know exactly when she is doing something down there. Not only that, but now every time she goes, she moves to a seated position. To me that is just one step closer to being potty trained.

Well, potty trained without the toilet and the not going in her pants, but a major step forward nonetheless.
