Once again, it is official. Avery is growing up. Today, she began crawling (in her own special way) over to me and climbing up on my legs and body. It is just unbelievably cute. She gets up on her knees fairly well, but then gets a little ambitious and tries to get to her feet, that’s when she falls back on to her bottom. Never fear, she is not defeated. She always tries again.
While this new endeavor is exciting, and yet, at the same time makes me realize how fast my baby girl is growing up, I think that it is now time to institute the house rules. The ones I grew up with seem to have produced a (fairly) normal adult. How about we start with this:
NO RUNNING, NO JUMPING, NO PLAYING ON THE STAIRS. No jumping on beds, no hitting…
What else should I include? Mom, dad – can you help me out with the rest of these? I seem to have blocked them out.
