Hi Mom, Avery here. I just got home from another fun-filled day at daycare. Dad picked me up! That sure was a treat. He explained that you were away at work, so I thought that I would let you know about a few things. I sure miss giving you kisses like the one I gave you the other day:

Dad and I sure had fun tonight. When we got home, we started to play all the fun games we normally play, but then he took out that silvery flashing thing again. I was not too sure about it and am not a big fan of the paparazzi, so I tried to keep him from using that device:

But he let me play with this cool toy that vibrated and I could not really care less about whether or not he was flashing that camera thingy at me anymore:

He even let me try on his hat:

But the best part of the night was when I got to make my own movie. I have wanted to be a movie star for the longest time … almost 4 months now! I finally got my chance. I even choreographed and directed the film too. It is entitled Blowing Raspberries. It has quite a “Blair Witch” kind of feel, and I fully expect to get nominated for an Oscar for my portrayal of the slobbery baby girl. I think that I may even take you as my guest. Would you like that? Ok, that is all. I need to get my beauty rest. Love you Mom!

Dear Avery,

I am so glad that you and Daddy had BIG FUN tonight. I miss you both terribly, and am sad that I missed the filming of your first movie. I knew you would do something new while I was gone.

Your post made me laugh and cry at the same time. I hope that some day you love someone enough to do both at the same time.

Be good for daddy, and I will peak in on you on Friday night – but you can sleep until Saturday if you like.

I love you!

Contrary to popular belief, not once did I supplement Avery’s noise-making. It is 100% authentic.

I am happy to say that our movie star is asleep in her trailor, resting from such an exciting premier … oh wait, that does not sound right – we do not live in a trailor. Also, it disturbs me that our daughter’s first big film went straight to internet. Hmmm. Avery, do not get any thoughts.
