After being with Avery every single day of her life until now, I now sit in a hotel room in Nashville missing my little girl. Although I think that I packed enough kisses with her in the car seat this morning, and spent an extra 30 minutes snuggling with her before bedtime last night, I am still very sad to be away from her.

I guess I just have to focus on my work (which is why I am traveling in the first place), and try to enjoy the time away. Does anyone have any suggestions on making this time away any easier?
