Yesterday Colleen and I took Avery out to run some errands. It seemed to us to be an easy and harmless outing, but little did we know that Costco would become dangerous. In the midst of shopping at Costco, I decided to grab a bag of shrimp out of one of the freezers. While attempting (let reiterate – attempting) to place the bag in the cart it slipped right out of my hand onto Avery’s head. To me it happened in slow motion, and as Colleen and I went to grab the bag, Avery let out a single wailing yell, and then just as quickly fell back to sleep.

We figure that this will not be the worst thing that befalls her in her life, and hey, no harm – no foul. Just some laughing about my clumsiness.
