If the rest of the trip were to be similar to how it started, we were in for a long day or two. We arrived about 3 hours late into LaGuardia Airport where my dad and Marsha picked Max Jaben and me up to take us to dinner and then over to JFK.
When arriving at JFK, there were hoards of Maccabiah athletes (I would venture to guess that it was the most jews I had seen in one place at one time). Security was tight … as it was close to a 10 minute interview before we could even check-in. Once we checked in, it was smooth sailing … at least for the 4 hours until our flight left at 2am.
